Which Vehicles Qualify for This Warranty?

New Vehicles:
Untitled purchased vehicles with fewer than 5,000 miles at the time of sale are eligible for a Lifetime Limited Powertrain Warranty. Please note that leased vehicles do not qualify.

What is Covered Under the Doug’s Lynnwood Mazda Lifetime Limited Powertrain Warranty?
ENGINE:

Cylinder block and cylinder head(s), all internal lubricated parts including pistons, piston rings, wrist pins, connecting rods, rod and main bearings, crankshaft, camshaft(s) and bearings, followers, lifters, pushrods, rocker arms, rocker shafts and bushings, balance shafts, valves, valve seats, valve guides, valve springs and retainers, oil pump, oil pump pickup, oil pump drive, water pump, seals and gaskets.

HYBRID/EV SYSTEM:

EV Motor.

TRANSMISSION / TRANSFER CASE:

Automatic Transmission Equipped:
Transmission case and all internal lubricated parts including oil pump, valve body, torque converter, governor, clutches, bushings, shafts, gear sets, bearings, vacuum modulator, dipstick and tube, seals and gaskets.

Manual Transmission Equipped:
Transmission case and all internal lubricated parts including shafts, bushings, bearings, gear sets, synchronizers, shift forks, seals and gaskets.

Transfer Case Equipped:
The transfer case housing, all internal lubricated parts, seals and gaskets.

DRIVE AXLE:

Front Wheel Drive Equipped:
Drive axle housing and all internal lubricated components including carrier case, gear sets, chain and sprockets, bearings, bushings, axle shafts, constant velocity joints, double offset joints (except if boot was damaged or missing), seals and gaskets.

Rear Wheel Drive Equipped:
Drive axle case and all internal lubricated parts including carrier, ring and pinion gears, gear sets, bearings, bushings, limited slip clutch pack, axle shafts, driveshaft(s), driveshaft support, u-joints, seals and gaskets.

Four Wheel Drive / All Wheel Drive Equipped:
All components listed under Front Wheel Drive Equipped and Rear Wheel Drive Equipped are covered.

TURBOCHARGER / SUPERCHARGER (Factory Installed Only):

Internally lubricated parts contained within housing, plus the housing itself.

FLUIDS & DIAGNOSTICS:

Fluids covered only when required with the replacement of a covered part(s). Diagnostic charges covered only for covered repairs.

Are There Any Additional Benefits?

Roadside Assistance (For 10 years from the purchase date, up to $80 per occurrence):

  • Towing: Emergency tow to the selling dealership if within 50 miles.
  • Battery Service: Jump-start assistance.
  • Flat Tire Change: Service to install your spare tire.
  • Lockout Assistance: Help to unlock your vehicle (with proper ID).
  • Fuel, Oil, Fluid, Water Delivery: Emergency delivery (you pay only for the actual fuel or fluid cost).

Note: No duplicate service requests within 72 hours.

Is It Really for an Unlimited Time?

Yes! The Lifetime Limited Warranty begins at the date and mileage of your purchase and continues for as long as you own the vehicle.

Can the Warranty Be Transferred If I Sell My Vehicle?

No. The warranty is registered to you, as our valued customer, and is non-transferable.

Do I Have to Maintain My Vehicle?

Yes. You’re responsible for following the manufacturer’s maintenance guidelines outlined in your owner’s manual.

Do I Have to Use Doug’s Lynnwood Mazda for Service?

No. While we’d love to service your vehicle, you are free to choose any licensed repair facility to maintain your warranty coverage.

Do I Have to Keep My Service Records?

Yes. In case of a claim, you’ll need to provide proof of factory-recommended maintenance. Bring your vehicle to us and we’ll keep your records on file for you!

Do Repairs Have to Be Done at Doug’s Lynnwood Mazda?

No. Repairs can be performed at any licensed repair facility with ASE Certified technicians. We want you to benefit from this warranty no matter where you are!

How Far from Home Am I Covered?

You’re covered anywhere in the United States and Canada.

Is There a Deductible?

Yes:

  • $100 deductible at the selling dealer (Doug’s Lynnwood Mazda).
  • $500 deductible at other repair facilities.
Are Commercial Vehicles Covered?

No. Vehicles used for commercial purposes (including Uber/Lyft), select Highline vehicles, and trucks lifted over 6” are not eligible for coverage.
